- First meeting in our new meeting location, Kanapaha Presbyterian Church
- President, Mikayla took Attendance [Eliza, Jordan, Mikayla, Miralyz, Taylor, Violet; not in attendance Sierra & Faye]
- Collect fall product forms, girls sign opt out agreement
- Girls complete fall survey, distributed parent surveys at the beginning of the meeting
- Treasurer, Miralyz collected dues & campout fees:
- Collect quarterly dues $25 [Violet & Miralyz paid for October, Jordan paid for year]. Everyone will receive individual girl invoices
- Collect forms - parent permission forms for November camp out/She's a Scientist x2, health forms [Jordan turned in all forms]
- Turn in camp fee $20 [paid by Jordan, Miralyz & Elizabeth; all others need to pay asap]
- Housekeeping/Facility Tour [Wendy]
- Advise Treasurer & troop of the beginning troop balance [$168.80]
- Review girl invoice spreadsheet
- Each girl received a composition book today, they need to bring it to each meeting
- Discuss November camp out agenda. Girls will earn Trailblazer, Night Owl badge and more!
- November Service Project - each girl needs to collect 10-15 canned goods or nonperishable items to support KPC Thanksgiving baskets
- Felt Bag activity - Team building [team MK & Eliza had 15 correct out of 20, team Miralyz & Jordan had 13.5 out of 20, team Violet & Taylor had 12 out of 20 correct]
- Meeting activity: Public Speaking Badge - #3, #1, #2, #1 and #3
- At home, have girls write a 60 second speech about something they believe in. Make sure they focus on their message. Video complete speech and upload to blog post.
- Discuss October at home badge Eating for Beauty [see blog post]
